Health and Risk Consultant based in Surrey required to work as part of a multi disciplined team managing and advising a portfolio of corporate clients. The role requires a level of expertise in at least one area as well as excellent client management skills allied to strong technical capability are also prerequisites.
As a Health & Risk Consultant you will be responsible for producing timely and accurate reports which are written to a high standard and in accordance with the Health & Risk Procedures Manual guidelines. You will review client's benefits and conduct market reviews before presenting renewals, produce proposals and tender documents as well as assist clients with transfers from commission to fee based approach. Additionally you will liaise with insurance providers to agree rates, terms and products. Furthermore, you must be able to clearly demonstrate a strategy for actively developing Health & Risk business from clients including promoting and securing existing and additional lines of business. Focusing on client satisfaction and business retention, you will develop professional relationships understanding all needs and objectives, attending meetings, preparing agendas and reports in accordance with brand guidelines and in accordance with company policy and procedures
Qualified to GR1 and IF7 the ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the Employee Benefits sector, including a breadth of knowledge across the spectrum of Employee Benefits, particularly Group Risk and healthcare benefits. Additionally you will be experienced in managing key client accounts, preferably involving clients with a range of different Pension and Employee Benefit structures. Salary on offer is circa £50,000 + full benefits package.
